My thanks to Jamielee and her team at Nationwide in Irvine for inviting me to visit to mark the branch’s 50th anniversary.

Not only has the branch been open for 50 years, but the current staff members have 135 years of service between them, including Lorraine with 41 years!

Nice to hear of Nationwide’s commitment to maintaining local branches, when so many banks are closing.

It was also great to hear about some of their community projects including school engagement as well as their support for local charities such as Ayrshire Hospice.
