I was delighted to catch up with the founder of CentreStage, the inimitable Fiona McKenzie OBE for a blether this afternoon.

As well as offering a warm welcome to everyone who comes through the door, and the opportunity to take part in many creative activities, the project helps connect people to services they need.

CentreStage also works with local business partners to provide training opportunities for young people and develop skills that are vital in our local communities and economies.

While based in Kilmarnock, the project has impacted on people across Ayrshire over the years and offers a vision for what could be achieved in other parts of Ayrshire.
